Is everything really on one bill, or are there add-ons?
One Calode bill — covers your website, online ordering, QR menus, loyalty and marketing, customer database, the built-in POS (POS Cloud), and the AI receptionist on your phone line. Card processing is billed separately at Stripe's standard per-transaction rate; SMS, if you use it, is billed by Twilio to you directly.
How long until my single-location restaurant is live on Calode?
Most single-location restaurants are live within seven days from contract to go-live. The bottleneck is almost always menu input and photos — the software side is fast. We schedule the kitchen test before the launch so nobody finds out about a problem on a Friday night.
I'm not technical and don't have a developer. Is Calode for me?
Yes — Calode is built for owners who cook, open, and close. Onboarding is run by a real person on our team, not a self-serve wizard. The dashboard runs from your phone, so you do not need an IT person for daily operations. If something breaks at 7pm, you call one number and a human answers.
What happens to my current website during the switch?
We rebuild it on Calode during onboarding and point your existing domain at the new site at go-live. No downtime, no broken links — the URLs your regulars and Google already know keep working. The old site gets archived but stays accessible until you confirm the new one is right.
Can I cancel any time? And if I do, what happens to my data?
Month-to-month — cancel from the dashboard any time, no long-term contract. Your customer list, order history, menu, and reviews all export as CSV files at cancellation. There is nothing locked up; the data is yours to take wherever you go next.
What if I open a second location later — do I have to start over?
No. The second shop comes online under the same account, with its own menu, prices, hours, and delivery zones — and our Cloner tool can copy your first shop's menu and branding into the new one so you are not rebuilding from scratch. We walk through what carries over (menu, branding, settings) and what restarts (order history, loyalty cards, reviews) on the demo.
